Welcome to Herricks Studios: Content Creation FoundationsStudents in the Content Creation Foundations Elective at Herricks Middle School get first-hand experience in Podcasting. These shows are student created and are available on Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Spotify and Pocket Casts.
In the Content Creation Foundations 8th Grade Elective, students have a unique opportunity to create their very own podcast. They begin by focusing on “The Three Cua’s” as Mr. Heit puts it: Content, Quality, and Chemistry. Students learn to engage with their co-hosts and audience for good Chemistry, research and support their topics for engaging Content, and practice best recording techniques to ensure Quality. By honing in on these core areas, they develop compelling and cohesive podcasts, turning their ideas into original intellectual creations.
