Dignity for All Students (DASA)

The Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) in New York State aims to foster safe, supportive, and inclusive school environments for all students. Enacted in 2010, DASA prohibits harassment, bullying, and discrimination on school grounds based on factors such as race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, and more. DASA strives to cultivate a culture of respect and dignity, promoting academic success and emotional well-being for every student.
