Attendance
Attendance Procedures:
All students' absences must be called into the attendance office. DO NOT EMAIL IN ABSENCES.
All students arriving late must check in at the attendance office upon arrival.
Students leaving early need to obtain a pass from the attendance office.
The student's parent or guardian is expected to call the attendance office to report an absence and state the reason. An absence note must also be submitted upon the student's return to school. This note MUST contain the following:

date of absence

reason for absence

signature of parent/guardian

phone number where the note can be verified
Early Dismissal Procedures
Families are encouraged to make appointments after school, or on weekends whenever possible to avoid disrupting instruction. If this becomes impossible, families should notify the school on the day of the appointment. Any adult picking up a student prior to dismissal must be at least 18 years of age and is required to show photo identification and sign the student out in the attendance office before they leave the building. Individuals that do not appear on the emergency contact list are required to have written permission from the parent/guardian in order to pick up a student.
